Arrow ratings hit season high with crossover

November TV crossovers are such an obvious network sweeps stunt — but they totally work!

Wednesday night’s Arrow hit a season high thanks to mixing it up with The Flash.

Arrow jumped to 3.6 million viewers and a 1.3 rating among adults 18–49 last night. That actually marks the biggest Arrow ratings since last year’s crossover. After, Supernatural (2.1 million, 0.9) hit a season high among viewers.

Tuesday’s The Flash crossover (3.9 million, 1.4 rating) also did well, and on Monday The CW’s struggling new dramedy Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (1 million, 0.3) had its biggest audience of the season. The superhero boosting is also help setting up the launch of Legends of Tomorrow in January.
