EXCLUSIVE: Here’s a clip from Amy Berg’s documentary about the tortured and groundbreaking rock singer who died at 27. Janis: Little Girl Blue, screening Sunday at the Toronto Film Festival, follows Janis Joplin’s
humble beginnings in conservative East Texas through her rise to fame
with Big Brother and the Holding Company following their triumph at
Monterey Pop, and her descent into drugs and booze. The movie screened a

Amy Winehouse — whose life and untimely death were chronicled in Asif
Kapadia’s highly successful documentary Amy.
